    • The LPMS PTSA is looking for a Sound Tech for its annual Variety Show. The Show is 6:30 pm on Thursday 4/4/19 with two rehearsals from 3:15-4:30 on Tuesday 4/2/19 and Wednesday 4/3/19. We typically have about 20 acts. Responsibilities include: * gathering sound tracks from the performers for their acts, including assisting them in downloading or purchasing music as necessary * cutting the tracks to the appropriate length * creating a playlist for the show based on the act line up. For the show we rent professional sound equipment including a mixing board, wireless microphones and corded, powered speakers that all connect into the school's sound system. We need someone who is familiar with this type of equipment to assist with set up and and its use during the show. The job pays around $100 for the time spent on site and the work done at home to finalize the tracks and create the playlist. The ideal candidate would have a laptop with the appropriate software and a strong interest in sound production and DJ type responsibilities. Previously we used a Mac laptop and iTunes for the playlist creation. The last sound tech helped out with our show for 4 years and also worked on the RCES variety show. If you are interested please message Ailene Renzi
